The 13th International Naval Engineering Conference and Exhibition (INEC)

The 13th International Naval Engineering Conference and Exhibition (INEC) is the foremost professional event in the naval engineer's calendar.  It takes place from Tuesday 26 – Thursday 28 April 2016 at The Passenger Shed at Brunel’s Old Station, Bristol, UK and is an Institute of Marine Engineering, Science and Technology (IMarEST) Learned Society event.  

INEC 2016’s theme is ‘Engineering the Triple A Navy: Active, Adaptive, Affordable’ and is set to attract over 300 delegates from many countries including representation from navies at all levels; naval procurement officials; commercial and military ship operators; designers and shipbuilders; classification societies; machinery and equipment manufacturers from prime contractors to SMEs; universities and other defence related organisations.  IMarEST is also delighted to welcome Her Royal Highness The Princess Royal, an Honorary Fellow of the Institute, during her visit to INEC 2016.

In addition to the keynote addresses and 80 peer-reviewed technical papers, INEC has up to 15 focused exhibition stands and delegates will be taking advantage of the excellent networking opportunities both within the exhibition hall, and within the social programme, which includes a reception aboard Brunel’s ss Great Britain.
