Following the successful integration of the NNAG Group meeting with MAST last year in Gdansk, the 111th NATO Naval Armaments Group meeting will be hosted by the (11th) MAST in Istanbul, Turkey.

MAST EurAsia opening session will set the tone for the week’s comprehensive conference programme (93 presentations in 33 sessions).

Senior-level authors-presenters come from 58 MOD/Navy/Research & Technology/Academia/Industry organisations, 16 countries, and four continents.

Rear Admiral Garcia joins an international line-up of the very highest level. Turkey’s top contributors so far include Chief of Navy and the Undersecretary of Defence (invited).

MAST gets a MENA/Asia boost
Record-high pre-registrations for MAST EurAsia are proof to the extensive reach of Istanbul’s location. Straddling Europe and Asia and with direct access to many MENA countries, registrations are showing a significant up-swing from Abu Dhabi, Azerbaijan, India, Indonesia, Japan, Jordan, Kazakhstan, Kyrgyz Republic, Kuwait, Pakistan, Qatar, Saudi Arabia, South Korea and Turkmenistan.

...Many of these countries have imminent (and / or current) naval procurement programmes. Not surprisingly, the MAST EurAsia exhibition is already the largest in five years; and, visitors can expect displays of over 100 platforms, systems, and solutions.
